Sculpture

Metal happened by chance in my life, an urgent need to make sculptures.

Strong, rigid as well as soft and sweet, steel and iron give me all their features. Sometimes, other metals attract me.

Iron follows smoothly the curves of my drawings.

The creation of a sculpture is a new evolve langage.

A kind of dialogue between steel-resistance and harmony.

At the beginning, there is a drawing. Then comes the moment of sculpture. A moment unique each time. Impossible to create several works at the same time or to remake. I have to go to the end of my gesture, a gesture impossible to repeat identically.

My sculptures are allegories made to reduce the distance between mineral, vegetal, animal and us. I hope to show the interdependence that govern all lives.

A sculpture, a canvas are projection screens where our feelings reveal themselves, a window allowing free reading or everyone can transfer his language and vision. They are an opportunity for exchanges of ideas, constructive disagreements… The beauty of multiple realities…
